WOMEN’S WORLD DAY OF PRAYER (WWDP) – GERMAN COMMITTEE – with the support from WWDP – German committee, WYEAHI has implemented a project titled – Food Security/Livelihood Support and Sexual Reproductive Health Right to Women and Girls Farmers, in Gamadio and Bolki political wards of Numan Local Government Area of Adamawa State, Nigeria where 80 women and girls were trained on gender injustice, reproductive health right and Good Agricultural Practice (GAP). The women and girls were supported with farm inputs to increase their livelihood opportunities in 2023.
While in 2024, another 50 women and girls farmers from Kodomti and Vulpi political wards of Numan LGAs were also trained on gender injustice, reproductive health rights, and Good Agricultural Practice (GAP) and supported with farm inputs. Another 50 beneficiaries from Bare and Imburu political wards trained and empowered with farm inputs in 2025.
The project aimed at increasing awareness and community enlightenment to stakeholders on gender injustice. Increased capacity of beneficiaries on gender injustice and to engage in economic empowerment. Improved Food Security and Livelihood support to women and girls.
